Singapore Rain Tree 2.2M 8/10-Seats #080
Singapore Rain Tree 2.2M 8/10-Seats #080
220cm L x 90cm Live Edge x 8cm Thick
We’ve been drying some amazing Singapore Rain Tree slabs that had to be cut a few years ago in Bukit Timah for widening the PIE. The grain in the SG Rain Tree is more interesting than anything we’ve seen before! Each slab is a piece of art - like an abstract painting. This is a thick piece - almost 9cm, hence the years of drying that were required. We were VERY excited to finish this one, lacquer it, & see the grain come to life.
This table, #080, has A LOT of CHARACTER! We love it, but if you want the cracks filled with solid wood or epoxy resin, let us know & we’ll do it for no charge.
NOTE: The LEGS that come with this table are black steel tube - the same in the photo of Singapore Rain Tree table #081 - the stand in the photo is temporary for the photo shoot only.

PURCHASING A DINING TABLE FROM US ONLINE
We know from experience that many customers prefer to see our unique solid wood pieces in person before purchasing, but we also now have a lot of customers who are comfortable making larger purchases online. As a result, we’ve taken the following steps to make online table-shopping more convenient:
1. We post high quality photos of EACH table with its corresponding ID#, accurate dimensions, origin information & any notes about the wood (we may be able to email you even more photos from different angles upon request)
2. You can come to our showroom to view your piece IN PERSON after you purchase it online before delivery (this is the best way to take immediate advantage of the online sales & discounts we offer)
3. The purchase price can be converted to a store-credit toward a different table or item if you change your mind before delivery
4. If you don’t view the table in person before delivery, but change your mind at the time of delivery, we can issue a store credit for the amount paid plus the return delivery charge
5. We are experienced craftsmen & women who are skilled in working with solid, natural wood. As a result, we follow traditional practices when it comes to carpentry, wood joinery & finishing. We don’t sell anything we don’t like
6. However, solid slabs of wood have a lot of unique marks, grain, (holes sometimes) & other features that give each piece “character” – & require our carpenters to make choices on how to finish each piece. The general rule is that if we choose to fill a hole in the wood, the next customer who comes will say he or she wishes we hadn’t filled the hole! As a result, we do as much work as necessary to make functional, investment quality tables without detracting from the natural character
7. We can HOLD DELIVERY for 6 months or more if you are waiting to finish a renovation project or move. We also ship overseas. Please coordinate this with us via email after you purchase.
8. DELIVERY date & time will be coordinated via email after your purchase. Please don’t order tables above 2.5M if a lift is required for access – without checking with us first!
