MAKE YOUR OWN CUTTING BOARD from Sustainable Singapore Grown African Mahogany! Everyone cuts a 45cm x 25cm approx solid Mahogany piece that we normally retail for between $135 and $185 depending on the features added. You will complete your board by the end of class and go home with a beautifully hand-crafted masterpiece! Capentry Class Makes a Great Gift!

TIME/LOCATION: 11:45AM to 3PM at the Arthur Zaaro showroom/factory: 122 Eunos Avenue 7, Richfield Industial Centre #08-07, Singapore 409575

1. Learn basic design & carpentry techniques before hands-on work. We guild you in designing a template for your board where you create features such as: handles, curves, juice groove, shape & side profiles

2. Power-tools used (after instruction): slide-table-saw, router, jig saw, drill press, orbital sander, finish sander — plus some old-fashioned hand sanding, filing and oiling

3. No experience necesasary.

4. Some experience? You will still have fun, learn a lot, and leave with an amazing hand-crafted cutting board!

5. Safety glasses, aprons, snacks, drinks all provided. Wear clothes that can get a little dirty. No sandals - closed shoes only. You can change at our place if necessary. Glasses or contact lenses? Choose glasses if possible.

6. YES - there is PARKING on site! We are also a 10min walk (2 min bike) from both Paya Lebar and Eunos MRTs

7. When signing up for the class: 1 Participant makes 1 board ($225). 2 Participants make 2 boards ($400) - sign up with a friend and save. 2 Participants make 1 board ($250)

8. Brining a friend? Taking class with a child? If 2 people want to make 1 board, sign up for 2 Participants make 1 board. Kids under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

9. Can’t make it to class that you signed up for? You must notify us at least 48h in advance and then if there is space, you can attend the next Carpentry Class, or use the class-fee as credit on any Arthur Zaaro products. No-show/last-minute cancelations will not have any refund or credit. Please help with this as we often have a waiting list for class.
